The Bayou Business Association is partnering with the City of Port Richey to celebrate Independence Day with a fireworks display at 8:45pm on the 4th of July. Funds for the fireworks need to be raised and we are looking for support from the community. Contributors will be acknowledged in the Suncoast News. On Saturday July 4th, approximately 2500 people celebrated Independence Day at Port Richey Waterfront Park where the Bayou Business Association hosted a laser light show. Many business and area residents donated their time and hard earned money to support the free, all-ages event. This past April the Bayou Business Association hosted Pasco Paddlepalooza 2015. The 3 day paddlesport race weekend included entertainment, vendors, Dragon Boat Races in the Bayou, a kayak race in Werner Boyce Salt Springs State Park and a paddle craft race along the Cotee River from New Port Richey to Port Richey.
